January is National Glaucoma Awareness Month.

• Congratulations to Loren and Angie (Marsh) Mckinney as they get married today. You both are very special and I wish you the very best in life and in your marriage.

• Please remember in prayer the family of Nell (Vaughn) Doyle in this time of loss. Aunt Nell was a very special woman. I am very blessed to have had her in my life.

• Happy first belated birthday to Aislin White on Jan. 3.

• Happy birthday to Kayla Niblett, who will turn 15 on Jan. 20.

• Jan. 21 is Hugging Day. I love a good bear hug.

• Happy birthday to Randy Reid on Jan. 22 and Jean Mathews on Jan. 23. I hope they are great.

• Happy 50th anniversary to Bobby and Gail Hill on Jan. 23. They will reaffirm their wedding vows. Wow, that is such a wonderful testimony to be married to someone for 50 years. God bless you both.

• My aunt, Grace Motes, will be 90 on Jan. 26. There will be a birthday bash for her with family and friends on Jan. 24. Aunt Grace you are a very, very special lady and I’m proud to have you for an aunt. I love you.

• Please pray for the family of Argie Brown in this time of loss. Ruth, Teresa and Tim, I am praying for you. I love you; you are so special to me. All of you have been a great blessing to me.
