Holiday closings schedule

North Jefferson County offices will be closed on the following days for the holidays:

• The North Jefferson News will be closed on Jan. 1. The classified deadline for the Jan. 3 edition of The North Jefferson News will be Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 4 p.m.

• Warrior City Hall will be closed on Jan 1.

• Morris City Hall will be closed on Jan. 1.

• Kimberly Town Hall will be closed on Jan. 1.

• Fultondale City Hall will be closed Dec. 31 through Jan. 2.

• Gardendale City Hall will be closed on Jan 1.

• Trafford Town Hall will be closed on Jan. 1.

Holiday garbage schedule

Residential garbage pickup will be affected in some local areas for the holidays. Schedules will be as follows:

• Warrior: Pickup will be on schedule for the week of New Year’s

• Morris: Pickup will be one day behind for Jan 1.

• Kimberly: Pickup will be on schedule for the week of New Year’s.

• Fultondale: Pickup will be one day behind for Jan. 1-2.

• Gardendale: Pickup will be one day behind for Dec. 31-Jan. 1.

• Trafford: Pickup will be one day behind for Jan. 1.
