Beulah Dean Hunt, age 85, of Gardendale passed away December 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. J. Arnold Hunt. and her grandson John Crowson. Mrs. Hunt was a member of Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Jeri Hunt and Lynda Smith Lee; son, Wilfred Hunt; son-in-law, Wayne Lee; grandchildren, Scott (Kim) Hunt, Bryan (Elizabeth) Smith, and John Smith; great-grandchildren, Chris Smith, Kelsey Smith, Jacob Ellis Smith, Kyle Hunt, Brooke Hunt, John Hunt, Jonathan (Blair) Crowson, and Weston Crowson; great-great grandson, Evan Crowson; sisters, Thena Pearl Glover and Dot Davis and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Her service will be held at Gardendale Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December, 26 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Dr. Rudy Guess and Rev. Jeri Hunt officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning prior to the service. “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above Rubies.
