A walk through historical weather: Believe it or not, our area had snow on Christmas Day on three occasions over the last 23 years: 1985, 1989 and 1993. I’d say we are long overdue.

• I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

• Wednesday marks the end of the year 2008! I hope everyone has a safe and fun New Year celebration.

• Happy belated birthday to Trent Millican who turned 19 on Dec. 19. He is the son of Brenda and Keith Hollis of Gardendale.
