Holiday closings schedule

North Jefferson County offices will be closed on the following days for the holidays:

• The North Jefferson News will close at noon on Dec. 24 and all day on Dec. 25 and on Jan. 1. Because of early press deadlines, the classified deadline for the Dec. 24 edition of The North Jefferson News will be Monday, Dec. 22, at noon. The classified deadline for the Dec. 27 edition will be Dec. 24 at noon.

• Warrior City Hall will be open Dec. 24 and will close on Dec. 25-26 and on Jan 1.

• Morris City Hall is closed Dec. 24-26. City Hall will close at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 31 and all day on Jan. 1.

• Kimberly Town Hall will be closed Dec. 24-25 and on Jan. 1.

• Fultondale City Hall will close Dec. 24-26 and Dec. 31 through Jan. 2.

• Gardendale City Hall will close at 2 p.m. on Dec. 24 and will remain closed through Dec. 26. City Hall will also be closed on Jan 1.

• Trafford Town Hall will be closed on Dec. 24-25 and on Jan. 1.

Holiday garbage schedule

Residential garbage pickup will be affected in some local areas for the holidays. Schedules will be as follows:

• Warrior: Pickup will be on schedule for the week of Christmas and New Year’s

• Morris: Pickup will be one day behind for Dec. 25-26 and for Jan 1.

• Kimberly: Pickup will be on schedule for the week of Christmas and New Year’s

• Fultondale: Pickup will be one day behind for Dec. 25-26 and for Jan. 1-2.

• Gardendale: Pickup will be one day behind for Dec. 25-26 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1.

• Trafford: Pickup will be one day behind for Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.
