Meeting for Trip

Revival

Nov. 9-12 Pineywood Baptist Church will be having a revival the services are:

Sun. 10:30a.m.-6p.m.

Craft Show

Nov. 14-15 The North Arts Council is presenting their Christmas Craft Show at the Gardendale Civic Center on Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Santa Claus will be there to have your child’s picture taken for a small fee. Concert

Nov. 14 Alabama Teen Challenge is putting together a benefit concert to be held at Gardendale’s First Baptist Church on Nov. 14, 7 p.m., with Shawn McDonald, Leah Faith and Jake Smith to perform. Teen Challenge is now celebrating it’s 50th anniversary of helping men, women, and teenagers defeat their drug and alcohol problem. Tickets for this event are currently on sale at www.itickets.com for $10 in advance or can be purchased at the door for $14. Groups of 10 or more are $8 each. Tasting Luncheon

Nov. 14 The North End Council of Garden Clubs will have a tasting luncheon on Nov. 14. Please join us between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Gardendale Civic Center. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door or in advance from a garden club member.



Charity Auction

Dec. 3 The Northern Area Realtor Caravan will be holding their Christmas breakfast and auction fund raiser at the Gardendale Civic Center on Dec. 3 at 8 a.m. Please join u s for a great time of food, fellowship, and the fun of bidding on the auction items. All funds raised are used for the children. Any questions should be directed to Mike Mealer at 531-0326. They will pick up items or deliver tickets to you.

Meet and greet

Nov. 14 The new Kimberly Town Council members will be at the Kimberly Senior Center on Nov. 14, 6:30-8:30 p.m., for a meet and greet.



Christmas in Kimberly

Christmas parade

Dec. 13 The town of Kimberly will host its fourth annual Christmas parade on Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. There is no entry fee. For an application, call Mona at Kimberly Town Hall, 647-5551. A tree-lighting ceremony will follow at Kimberly Memorial Park.



Dance

There will be a senior citizens dance every Friday night at the Kimberly Community Building one block off Highway 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $3 each. No alcohol, foul language or children allowed on the dance floor. For more information call 942-1898.

Christmas assistance

Nov. 28 The deadline to nominate a family for the City of Morris Christmas Assistance Program is Nov. 28. Turn in contact information for the families at Morris City Hall. Families will be selected the first week of December. For nominations and questions, call Rachael Turner at 647-0596.
