Easter Harris Wells, age 89 of Gardendale passed away Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008. She was a member of Pineywood Baptist church and was preceded in death by her husband, William (Ray) Wells; brothers, George, Tom Luman, John, Ed, Doug and Harold Harris. Survivors include her son, Michael R. Wells (Donna); daughter, Jo Ann Godwin (Randy); grandchildren, Lu Ann Phillips, Randy Godwin Jr. (Anita), Amy Smith (Jerry), Cheley Black (Marty) and Rebecca Wilson (Matt); 16 great-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Moncrief Cemetery. Bro. Harold Rhodes officiating.
