The Mortimer Jordan Lady Blue Devils improved to 6-7 overall as they sweep a tri-match against Corner and Pleasant Grove.

The Lady Devils opened with a 25-21, 25-16 win over the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Junior Peyton Davis led the way with 15 kills, two blocks and an ace.

Ashley Merritt passed off 10 assists and Elizabeth Naramore added five kills. Jordan improved to 5-7 with the win.

In the nightcap, the Jordan improved to 2-1 in area play by sweeping the Lady Spartans in three games, 25-15, 25-8 and 25-18.

Davis again had a fine match with 11 kills, two blocks, in addition to seven aces.

Merritt passed off 17 assists and senior Ashlee Porter played well on the front line with six kills.
