Second recycling bin now available for use

Gardendale Mayor Kenny Clemons announced at Monday’s city council meeting that a second recycling container is now available for use at Moncrief Park. Clemons said the first container, located at the soccer complex on Fieldstown Road, wasn’t enough to handle the volume of recycled material, so a second bin was ordered. Residents can place aluminum, paper and plastic products in the containers, but no glass or household garbage.
