Tabernacle looks to get back on the winning track after a big second half comeback fell just short last week against Victory-Columbus.

The Torches will face the Calvary Watchmen, a team featuring a wide-open offensive attack.

“They’re a 8-man spread team,” Tabernacle head coach Keith Dabbs said. “They spread the field out. They either throw it or the quarterback keeps it on almost every play. They just about always do one or the other.”

Dabbs wants his club to hone their defense before the CFA playoffs roll around.

“We need to work on getting up field on defense this week and for the rest of the season,” Dabbs said. “That’ s the key for us for the rest of the year, being more aggressive on defense.”
