Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist church will hold a flea market, craft show and fabric sale on Sept. 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are booth spaces available. For more information call 631-7631.

• Gardendale’s Alumni from the Class of 1968 are planning reunion activities the weekend of homecoming. They will not only participate in the parade, but will attend the game and enjoy homecoming festivities. A large number of these graduates plan to attend the homecoming game on Oct. 3, then have a dinner and entertainment at the Exhibition Hall of the Gardendale Civic Center on Oct. 4.
