Cody Len Gooch, age 15 of Brookside passed away on August 3, 2008. Cody was incoming sophomore at Gardendale High School and some of his hobbies include hunting and fishing, football and spending time with his friends. Survivors include his parents, Cary and Kim Gooch; sisters, Amber Gooch and Shea Gooch; grandparents, Charles and Sharon Gooch and Donnie and Betty Stobert; aunts, Keri (Johnny) Hartly and Jaime (Brian) Kirkpatrick; uncle, Jeremy (Angel) Stobert; niece, Brooklyn Huey and several cousins and extended family and friends. Services will be held at Gardendale Funeral Home on Aug. 6 at 1 p.m. with burial in Bivens Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Jason Dunlap officiating.
