Food page recipes just ain’t gettin’ it

Please print real southern recipes.

No one I know can afford all those expensive Internet ingredients. Even if they could, it’s not real food.

Whatever happened to peas, southern fried okra, meat loaf, corn bread, biscuits in buttermilk, butter beans, soup, turnips, collards, mustard greens and all other real food, grits, gravy, fried eggs, etc.?

The way it is now is awful. I don’t make any of it and I’ve quit reading them.

Please print this request. What ever happened to home cooking recipes? I live in California and I subscribe to the North Jefferson paper.

Sweet potato pie? Cobblers? Pudding? Homemade cakes? Chicken and dumplings? Dressing and old-timey mac and cheese?
