‘The Sound of Music’ to be staged this week

The Gardendale Arts Council will present a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music” on July 24-26 at 7 p.m. at the Gardendale Civic Center’s exhibition hall. Tickets are on sale now for $10 and can be purchased at the civic center. Call 631-5679 for more information.



Correction

The City of Gardendale’s Focus publication, which was inserted in Wednesday’s North Jefferson News, had some incorrect information regarding a promotion at the Martha Moore-Gardendale Public Library. If you have fines on your library card, you can bring in a can of unexpired goods or non-perishable items in exchange for $1 per item toward your fines (up to $10) during the month of September only.
