Trafford church to honor vets Sunday

June is National Dairy Month.
• Happy birthday to Gene Barnett on June 30.
• Trafford Church of God will have a special program honoring our vets Sunday during the morning service. The children’s choir will present “Bought with a Price.”
• July 4 is the most dangerous day for driving. More people die in car crashes on this day than any other, including New Years. Alcohol plays a big role in these accidents according to Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
• Warrior I Church of God will have a special service on July 6. John Harris, a retired Vietnam vet will be the guest speaker. John Harris, was at one time the assistant pastor at Warrior I Church of God. Lunch will follow. All vets are welcome. We want to thank you for what you gave for all of us.
• Remember, freedom isn’t free.
• Remember to pray for all of our troops and their families.
• Happy birthday to: Joel Williams on July 1; Cody Hayes and Mildred Sharp on July 4; and Tabitha Gray turns 10 on July 5. I hope they are all great.
• July 2 is National Friendship Day.
• Happy anniversary to Robert and Deborah Richardson on July 1 and Ronnie and Margaret Marsh on July 3.
• July 27 is homecoming at Warrior I Church of God. The guest speaker is Matt Handly, the singers are The Weigels. July 28 starts camp meeting, the a.m. service starts at 10 a.m. with the Sloan family Monday through Wednesday. The night speaker will be Richard Handly starting at 7 p.m. Thursday night will feature a youth service and Matt Handly will preach that night. The Weigels will be the guests on Thursday through Saturday in the morning services. There will not be a Saturday night service. Lunch will be served in the morning services. Everyone welcome.
