Glenn Harvey Gross

Glenn Harvey Gross, 82, of Gardendale, died May 30, 2008 in Birmingham. His families’ loving memories include the time he was a Navy Cadet in WWII. He then went to Cal Tech to become a Mechanical Engineer. His work experience included working with the Werner von Braun team in the 50’s in Huntsville. He was part of the team that put up the first missile from the U.S. He later owned his own company in Huntsville and then worked with Information Handling Services in Denver, Co. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Glenn, with his first wife, Delia, had four children, Sherry, Belinda, Glenn Jr. and Keith. He was predeceased by his mother and father; wife, Delia; daughter, Sherry; sons, Robert Glenn and Thomas Arnold; and granddaughter, Shandon. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Belinda; sons, Glenn Jr. and Keith; step-children, Brenda, Paula and David; and sister, Jeanette. There are seven grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. Gardendale Funeral Home directed.
