Trafford Baptist Church will be having Homecom-ing June 1. They will also be having vacation bible school on June 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for ages 4-12.

• Happy birthday to Jarod Dickinson on May 25.

• Happy anniversary to: Lee and Trayce Motes and Darl and Dorothy Crawford on May 29; and Randy and Jean Reid on May 30.

• Happy birthday to a very special lady, Maxine Heath, on May 25.

• My brother-in-law Michael Glover said he wanted to make a trip out of state for his birthday, not for the fun of a trip, but because he was afraid I would do something kinda mean for his birthday. His birthday is not even a big one. Oh, Michael if I were you, I would be afraid. Happy birthday on May 27. Paybacks can be rough.

• May 25 is National Tap Dance Day.
