Reunion

May 31 The Gooch family reunion will be held May 31 at Moncrief Kiddie Park beginning at noon. The family would like to extend an invitation to old and new friends, cousins, in-laws, out-laws or whatever. Bring any old photos or items of interest to share. Senior Day

Garden Tour

June 7 and 8 The 2008 Gardendale Garden Tour will be June 7 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and June 8 from 1 until 4 p.m. Tickets will be $5 and will be available from North End Council Garden Club Members and at the individual homes. Please call Maurene Guffin 631-4871 for information.

Free Child Care

There will be free child care in the Mt. Olive area for 3 and 4 year olds. The head start program is now enrolling for the summer. Regular full day childcare is offered. Call 608-1661.

Pageants

July 26 and 27 The 2009 Miss North Jefferson County Scholarship Pageant, an official Miss Alabama preliminary pageant, will be held July 27, 2008. The 2008 fundraiser pageant will be held on July 26 at Fultondale Elementary School at 6 p.m. Ages infant-12 are eligible.



Dances

The Marlow Ballroom Dance is held the third Sunday of every month at Friendship Hall in Fultondale from 2-5 p.m. Cost is $8/person, dressy casual. Group classes are also held every Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Friendship Hall $10/person. For more information call 229-8240.
