I would like to wish my mother and mother-in-law a very happy Mother’s Day tomorrow. I hope your days are wonderful. I could not ask for better mothers in my life. I love you both. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the other wonderful mothers in our community. May your day be full of wonderful family and beautiful blessings.

• Happy birthday to my neighbor and friend, Dana Blalock on May 11. Dana is the wife of Josh and mother to Emma and Ella.

• Happy Birthday and congratulations to my father, Ken Talley. Dad celebrated a very blessed birthday on May 11 and he also got married to Shelia Branch of Gardendale on May 6.

• The history book on Fultondale First Baptist Church and Fultondale is available for $15.
