Laurance Edward “Ed” Parker, age 74 of Gardendale, passed away on April 14, 2008. Mr. Parker was proceeded in death by his parents, Ted and Mae Parker and grandson, Alex Lee. He was retired from the State of Alabama Highway Department after 39 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Parker; daughter, Mona Lee (David); brother, Douglas Parker (Gloria); several nieces, nephews and special friends. Graveside services were held at Moncrief Cemetery.
