Hazel Butts of Gardendale Beautification Commission puts trash in a bag held by commission president, Dr. Truett Guffin. Commission members are inviting the community to be a part of a city-wide clean-up day to be held Saturday. Residents are encouraged to meet at the civic center and be prepared to leave by 8 a.m. Volunteers will have police escort and will be fed a lunch of pizza upon returning to the civic center after 11:30 a.m.
