Dessie G. Calvert, age 84, of Guntersville, left this walk of life for heaven on April 3, 2008. Services were held at Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home on April 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. with burial in Elvester Cemetery. Bro. Gary Creel officiated. She was preceded in death by her Husband Charles Edward Calvert. Survivors: three sons Jimmy and wife Cheryl Calvert, Sonney and wife Joyce Calvert, Greg and wife Kim Calvert and one daughter Charlotte and husband Ken Osbourn, 11 grandchildren Heath (Tracy) Calvert, Hugh (Aimee) Calvert, Jeff (Wendy) Calvert, Stacey (Doug) Blakemore, Scott (Cindy) Calvert, Chase Calvert, Courtney Calvert, Hunter Calvert, Suzanne (Kenneth) Sisco, Jennifer Sargent, Deborah Osbourn, seven great-grandchildren Brody Sargent, Reid Calvert, Kristen Calvert, Meg Calvert, Josh Calvert, Katie Calvert, Faythe Calvert and a host of extended family and friends.
