The Gardendale Police Department is seeking information on an armed robbery that occurred at McDonald’s Thursday night.
This is the second time in three months the restaurant has been robbed.
Sgt. Chuck Denham said the robbery happened at about 11:45 p.m. The restaurant was closed but the drive-through was reportedly open.
Denham said two suspects, described as two armed black men in their 20s, entered the restaurant through the drive-through window and then demanded money from employees.
No one was injured.
The suspects then exited through the window and left the scene on foot.
Denham said both men were wearing black clothing and were wearing black western-style bandannas over their faces. He also described them as thin with a medium complexion.
Denham said the department has some leads, but nothing definite as of yet.
In January, the same restaurant was robbed by two black men at about 11:30 p.m. as the store was closing.
Chief Mike Walker said the suspects were unable to get cash from the store, but did reportedly rob the employees.
No arrests have been made in either case.
If anyone has any information on the robberies, they are urged to call the Gardendale Police Department at 631-5722.
