Funeral services for Danny Ray Absher, 54, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Andrew Ball officiating, with interment in Center Hill Cemetery in Hanceville.

Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Absher died Wednesday, April 2, at Woodland Medical Center. He was born on July 10, 1953, in Cullman County.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Absher; a daughter, Carol Absher of Hanceville; two sons, James Absher of Cullman and Terry (Shannon) Bradley of North Carolina; his father, Dewey O. Absher of Hanceville; his mother, Bertha Bateman of Hanceville; his stepfather, Ray Copeland of Cullman; a brother, Auther (June) Absher of Cullman; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Colton and Brooklin Bradley of North Carolina; and two nephews, Scott Absher of Montgomery and Michael Absher of Cullman.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
