Lemuel “Lem” Howard Brock, age 75, of Hanceville, passed away on Feb. 15, 2007. Services were held at Center Grove Baptist Church with burial at the adjacent cemetery. He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Yolanda and parents, Leonard C. Brock and Aline Smith. He was a retired U.S. Air force. Survivors include his sons, Darryl E. Brock and Glenn (Beth) Brock; brother, Joseph L. (Jo) Brock; sisters, Zula Johnson, Barbara (Ted) Beckingham, Mary (L.D.) Veal and Frankie (Mac) Smith; grandchildren, Amber (O’Neal) Pierce and Lindsey Brock; Mr. Brock is an avid fiddle player, photographer, dancer and genealogist. Mr. Brock is also survived by his darling companion Mary (Boots) Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews. Rev. Richard Welch officiated the funeral.
