Merle A. Clark age 73, of Jasper, passed away on Jan. 28, 2008. Merle was preceded in death by her parents Claude Meadows and Wilma Townley Meadows. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim L. Clark, brother, Robert Meadows, sister, Doris Woods, brother, Percy Meadows. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy McDuffie of Mt. Olive, son, Gregory C. Clark of Jasper, sister, Ruby Nell Meadows of Jasper and Joe Meadows of Richmond, Va., five grandchildren. Services were held at the Collins Burke Funeral Home with burial in Oakhill Cemetery.
