Pearlie B. Moon, age 104 of Gardendale went home to be with Jesus on Jan. 25, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Homer B. Moon and her son Marvin R. Moon. She was a member of Pineywood Baptist Church in Gardendale. She was a former resident of New Prospect Mountain in Cullman County. A resident of Gardendale the past 35 years. Survivors include her sons, Dearl D. Moon (Arlene) and James Namon (Annie Mae) Moon; daughters, Gaynell (Ray) Sorenson and Donna Ree Higgbotham; 25 grandchildren, a host of loving great and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and sister, Tressie Timmons.
