Doris Phillips, age 56, of Empire, died on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008. Graveside services were held at Red Hill Cemetery on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. Bro. Otto Tolbert officiated. Visitation was held on Saturday. She was preceded in death by her son, Joe Phillips.
