Another year is behind us and we have a new one to look forward to. Last year was an exciting year for our family. I am excited to see what 2008 has to offer. I wish you all the best.

• I would like to wish my dear sweet ‘nephew’ Daniel Davison a very happy 18th birthday tomorrow. Also a happy belated birthday to my best friend, Sandi Greer, on Dec. 29.

• Please remember the community lunch tomorrow at Fultondale United Methodist Church, following church services. The menu includes: chicken tetrazzini, green beans, carrots, bread, peach cobbler, tea and coffee. Adult plates are $6, child (4-12 years) $4, 4 and under free.
