North Jefferson tops Bragg, Hayden wins three straight

The Lady Blue Devils won behind Haylie McCleney’s 30-point performance. Alyssa Amderson added 16, while Megan Smith had four and Mandy Segers had three. Megan Myrick scored one point.
For Bragg, Haley Hardman had 18 points, 14 rebounds and six steals. Samantha Sheffield had seven points, a game-high 22 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots.
Ahsley Russell had four points, four rebounds and three steals. Morgan Belcher had two points, two assists and three steals.
Georgie Vinieratos had two points, 11 rebounds and two assists.
Jazmine Garner had two points and Sarah Brewis and Katy Blecher had one point each.
Brag slipped to 6-3 overall.

The Lady Wildcats began a three-game winning streak with the 17-point win. Hayden never trailed as they took control early in the game.
Anna Shelton led the way with 16 points, followed by Madison Durham with 13, Christine Cleveland and Aly Thompson had three points each.

Just two days after beating the Lady Bulldogs, the Lady Wildcats took the measure of the same club again.
Hayden trailed by two at halftime, but mounted a comeback behind the scoring Durham, who finished with a game-high 27 points.
Shelton scored five more for Hayden, while teammate Thompson had three, Rosa Lee Aderhold and Whitney Lamont scored two points each for the winners.

The Lady Wildcats wrapped up the three-game winning streak this week by edging the Lady Tigers.
Cleveland hit what proved to be the game-winning free throw. Durham had 12, Shelton scored eight.
Cleveland scored six and Aderhold had four points.
Hadyen head coach Keith Miller said the three-game steak was built on strong inside play on offense and playing aggressive perimeter defense.
