James (J.L.) Lewis Rowell, age 74, of Trafford, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007. Funeral services were held at Trafford Church Of God on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007 at 1 p.m. with burial in Warrior Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Jones officiated. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his son, James (Jimmy) Lewis Jr. Survivors: wife Annie Mae Rowell, daughter Della Ann (Aaron) Smith, grandson Zachary Blake Smith. J.L. served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. A devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was our beloved Paw Paw.
