Wow, can you believe Christmas is only 24 days away? Time flies. I think we have just about all of our shopping complete. We got lucky this year.

• Fellow-ship Baptist Church will be holding their high attendance day on Sunday, Dec. 2.

• The Fultondale Elementary PTA would like to let you know every first Thursday of the month at the Fultondale Zaxby’s, is PTA night from 4 to 9 p.m. The PTA gets 15 percent of the sales donated to them during these hours. I hope to get updates soon on how well this is going.

• The Fultondale Education Committee (FEC) meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the high school in the media center.

• The FHS junior and senior high bands are selling apples, oranges, pears, tangerines and tangelos. Please contact any band member to place your order.

• Please remember the community lunch will be tomorrow at Fultondale First Baptist Church. This month’s menu will include baked spaghetti, salad, cake, coffee and tea. Adult plates are $6, ages 4-12 are $4 and ages 4 and under eat free. For more information on the lunch or the CareNet Connection, please contact Jim Branum at 587-8838.

• Mark your calendars: Princess Girlz will be Jan. 14 at 7 pm, at the BDSA Friendship Hall. This will be our second annual crowning ceremony. For more information, visit us at www.princessgirlz.org.

• Thank you again for all of your continued prayers for my family. My father is improving every day.
