Annie B. Henley, age 89 of Gardendale went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 24, 2007. She was a long time member of Gardendale’s First Baptist Church. She worked in Central Services at Carraway Methodist Hospital and retired in 1981. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Henley, son, Vernon Dale Henley and granddaughters, Dana Lynn Weems and Lisa Keith. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, James D. Henley Jr. (Charlotte) and John A. Henley (Sandi); daughters, Donna Lindsey (Edward) and Janis Weems; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
