Christmas Love is going to be held this year, according to Sharon De La Fuente.

De La Fuente has been involved with Christmas Love since it formed 20 years ago.

“The spirit of Christmas giving is still in our wonderful community,” she said in a statement. “The community begged us to continue to give toys for Christmas Love, so we will continue with your help.”

Registration is today at Spirit Life Church of God on St. Joseph Street. While the registration is taking place there, the church is not actually involved in the event.

“Christmas Love still needs all of your support,” said De La Fuente.

She said the organization needs volunteers, donations, love and prayers.

“Let’s not let one child go without the gifts of the season this community can provide if we join together,” said De La Fuente. “It’s all about giving.”
