Lee Elizabeth Parker and Joseph Dean Polk were united in marriage on Aug. 4, 2007, in a double ring ceremony at Longview Church of God, the Rev. Mark Mathis officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Parker of Vinemont.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Polk of Jackson, Tenn.

Wedding music was provided by Tracey Fowler, pianist; and Ty Parker, Tad Parker and Daisy Polk, all vocalists.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Holly Alman was matron of honor. Katie Brandon was maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Misty Klein, Emily Nolen, Kristin Owen, Daisy Polk and Christie Polk.

Hostesses were Emily Brandon, Hallie Drake, Maddie Wix and Marlee Wix, all cousins of the bride.

Doug Polk was best man. Groomsmen were Dave Cherry, Matthew Page, Tad Parker, Ty Parker, Dale Polk, Tyler Salyer and Adam West. They also served as ushers.

The reception was held in the church’s fellowship hall.

Following a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Madison.
