John M. Southern, age 77, of Warrior, left this walk of life to be with his Lord and Savior on November 6, 2007. He was a member of Bradford Sanctuary of Praise. Funeral Services will be held at Messmer-Goodwin Funeral Home on November 9, 2007 at 2 p.m. with burial in Cane Creek Cemetery. Rev. Carson Fagan, Rev. Wayne Turley and son John Terry Southern officiating. Mr. Southern is survived by his wife of 56 years Dorothy Southern, son John Terry (Belinda) Southern, two daughters Shelia (Wayne) Turley and Karon (Chuck) Self, grandchildren Matthew Southern, Kelcie Self and Kara Self, one brother Bobby Southern and one sister Edna Cochran and many other extended family and friends.
