Carlton Creel, age 71 of Hillview, passed away on Oct. 24, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary F. Creel and brother, Charles E. Creel. Mr. Creel retired from the Birmingham News after 38 years of service. Survivors include his children, Steve (Cynthia) Creel, Randy (Teresa) Creel, Mary Wells (Wayne), grandchildren, Johnathan Creel, Brian Creel, Mary Ann Wells, Stacey Wells, great-grandchild Breanna Creel. Graveside services were held at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
