Tarrant tops Corner, 38-20

The Tarrant Wildcats keep Corner winless in region play as they topped the Yellow Jackets, 38-20.
The Yellow Jackets fell behind 20-0, but then drove late in the second quarter for their first score.
The drive ended on a 1-yard run by Devin Cuda. Katelyn Geddings added the point-after and the lead had been trimmed to 20-7 with just 334 seconds left until halftime.
Tarrant would answer back with quick score to take a 26-7 lead into the locker room.
In the fourth quarter, with just eight minutes left to play, Casey Marcrum scored on a 6-yard run, but the point-after failed and the Yellow Jackets trailed, 38-13.
Then with just 2:22 to play, the Yellow Jackets capped the scoring for the game when Garrett Alley scored on a 6-yard run. Geddings added the point-after to make the final, 38-20.
Marcrum led the Corner ground attack with 87 yards on 14 carries, followed by Cuda with 71 yards on 14 carries.
Zac Price was 7-of-16 passing for 32 yards, but was intercepted twice.
Cuda caught three passes for 11 yards and Cody Green had one catch for 19 yards.
Shon Long led the defense with 14 tackles, followed by Braxton Horton and Marcrum with 10 tackles each. Marcrum had one fumble recovery.
