I would like to apologize for my absence. I have had several things go on in my personal life that have prevented me from keeping you up to date. Please forgive me.

n Please keep my father, Ken Talley, in your prayers. He is still recovering in the hospital.

n I received an e-mail regarding a missing 6-year-old pit bull this week. She is suspected stolen, because she has never run away, and there have been similar breeds go missing in the area. She has been missing since Sept. 8. If you have any information on the dog, contact Amy Thompson at 283-6877 or Larry Thompson at 515-0614.
