Despite my team’s current status, I’m happy it’s football season

Well, football season is in full bloom, and Auburn fans are mourning a horrible loss.
That’s right, I’m an Auburn fan, and I hate to let you know I’m disappointed in my team. We made some bad plays and even worse calls in the last game.
I don’t think things are going to look much better this week as we take on Mississippi State. I still support our coach and hope that things will chin up in the next few weeks.
Alabama fans seem to be extremely happy with their new coach and his two wins. I think they are forgetting how it felt to actually win a few consecutive ball games.
Alabama has gotten plenty of publicity and fan fare since they have welcomed their new head coach. They do deserve a good coach, especially since the last few have really been bombs.
I don’t claim to be a know-it-all about college football. I’m probably the least educated about the teams this year of anyone in my whole family, but I do enjoy the games. I love to load up on the couch, eat tons of fattening foods and cheer on my team or any team taking on Alabama.
Raygan has a little Auburn cheerleading uniform she wears every Saturday, and I have my Auburn jewelry that I wear.
Todd tries his best to make it to all the games. We have a great friend who gives him tickets to most of the games and we are forever indebted to him. I would just rather watch the game in the air conditioner and with tons of free food, especially now that I have a baby to take care of.
I also love to be surrounded with family and friends while we fight about who will return the kick off or if Tuberville is crazy enough to waste the last 30 seconds in the game and let it go into overtime.
I live in the south, and as all good southern girls know, fall is football season. I enjoy this season to the utmost and I love to have a good, wholesome time watching a bunch of oversized men fight over some pigskin.
Isn’t is good to be from Alabama? War Eagle, baby.
