Douglas O’Neal Faucett

Douglas O’Neal Faucett, beloved father and grandfather went to be with our Lord on July 20, 2007, at the age of 69. He retired from Doc’s Transfer and Warehouse, a respected and cherished employee after 41 years of service. A member of County Line Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his son, Ken Faucett and his parents, Brady and Effie Faucett. Doug is survived by his wife of 50 years, Purnie Faucett, his sons, Neal Faucett (Vicki) and Bart Faucett (Dawn), grandsons, Grant, Alec and Levi Faucett, granddaughters, Whittney, Shelby and Sarah Faucett, a brother, Gary Faucett and sisters, Sandy Morton, Evelyn Gaither and Jean Burton. He was dearly loved and will be missed by a host of family and friends. Memorials may be made to County Line Baptist Church 74 Smith Mill Road, Trafford, AL 35172. Services were held at Morgan’s @ Gardendale Chapel with interment at Bethel Cemetery in Bradford.

Richard Turner

Richard Turner, age 59, of Warrior, went to be with the lord on July 21, 2007. Funeral services will be held at Graveside at Hays Cemetery on July 25, 2007 at 2 p.m. with burial in Hays Cemetery. Bro. Chris Chambless officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 24, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. Survivors: wife of 37 years Jan (Morgan) Turner, daughter Karmen (Sissy) Payne, son Adam (Shorty) and wife Carrie Turner, his grandchildren “Grandaddy’s” babies Sara, Stephani and Nic Payne and Austin Turner. Mr. Turner is also survived by his mother Catherine (Hays) Turner, brothers John and Jim Turner and sisters Kathryn Suddeth, Patsy Justice and a host of family and friends. Mrs. Jan would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Walter Don and Dr. Allen Yeilding and Nurse Practitioner Karen Draper and the entire nursing staff of Carraway for their love and support of the Turner family in their time of need.
