A group of Take Off Pounds Sensibly meets at 6 p.m. every Monday night in Gardendale. Free Child Care

There will be free child care in the Mt. Olive area for 3 and 4 year olds. The head start program is now enrolling for the summer. Regular full day childcare is offered. Call 608-1661.



October Festival

Oct. 6 Mt. Olive United Methodist Church is having its third annual October Festival on Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. To rent a space for crafts, home-made food items, wood crafts, etc., call Lisa at 631-4924.

New Group

July 30 Morris Senior Center will be starting a current events club for anyone interested in learning more. Let me know what you want to learn, call Eloise at 647-7434. July 30 will be the first meeting from 10-11 a.m. and then lunch. Speakers will speak on history, medical, gardening, cooking and current events.
