Mildred Smith McEachern
Funeral services for Mildred Smith McEachern will be at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007 at Simcoe Methodist Church cemetery. Ridout’s-Brown Service Funeral Home of Birmingham is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McEachern died on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2007. She was born on Aug. 19, 1917 to Jesse Harden Smith and Florence Winn Smith of Simcoe. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dr. Luther Myron McEachern; and a sister, Edna Earle Arnold of Cullman.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Myron Luther McEachern of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Melinda Mathews of Birmingham and Dixie Bergquist of Cullman; a brother, Marvin McCoy Smith of Springfield, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Joe Bill Mathews, Mandy Bergquist, Melanie Mathews Grein, Noel Bergquist, Nathan Bergquist, Heather McEachern Helms and April McEachern Helms; one great-grandson, Benjamin Luther Mathews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McEachern graduated from Huntingdon College and was active in First Methodist Church and Hyde Park Methodist Church, both in Tampa, Fla. She worked with her husband in his medical practice in Tampa, Fla. until his retirement in 2005.
Nancy Naylor Woodruff
Funeral Services for Nancy Naylor Woodruff will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2007 at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bob Alford, Randy Cooper and Steve Mischke officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery. Casey Funeral Home in Henderson, Tenn. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Woodruff, 76, died on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at Carraway Methodist Medical Center is Birmingham. She was born in Oakland, KY to the late James Harrison and Thelma. The family later moved to finger where she graduated from Chester County High School in 1948. She also graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn. with a bachelor’s degree in home economics and a Master’s Degree in education for home economics. She worked with the Decatur County Extension Service. She was married to Dr. bobby woodruff in 1953 and they made their home in Norfolk, Va. while he was in the Navy. They later lived in New Jersey where both taught school. They returned to Finger in 1978 and she taught home economics at Chester County High School for 20 years and retired in 1989. She moved to Henderson, Tenn. in 1993 and later moved to Cullman to be near her son Todd’s family while Major Todd Woodruff was serving in Iraq. She went into the hospital three weeks ago.
Mr. Woodruff was also a loyal member of the First United Methodist Church and her former church, Trinity United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading and delivering meals-on-wheels and working with various charities over her lifetime. Most of all, she loved being with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Major Todd A. Woodruff and his wife Sheila of Cullman; a daughter, Laura Canaday and her husband Tony of Corinth, Miss.; grandchildren, Selina and T.J. Woodruff of Cullman, Justin Gilley of Tuscaloosa, Bethany, Aaron and Drew Canaday of Corinth, Miss.; a brother, Glenn Naylor and his wife Charlotte of Finger; a sister, Sue Wright and her husband Bob of Martin, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home.
Lowell T. Nunnelley
Funeral services for Lowell T. Nunnelley will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Garden of Christas at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nunnelley, the owner of several Pasquales Pizza restaurants in the Birmingham area, passed away on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007. He was born and raised in Cullman County and was a former member of the Board of Directors of Colonial Bank in Roebuck. Also, He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Nunnelley was preceded in death by twin sons, Roger Lynn and Rodney Lee.
Survivors include his lovely wife of 54 years, Jackie Loggins Nunnelley; son Phillip L. Nunnelley (Donna) of Cullman; grandsons, Phillip Tyler Nunnelley of Cullman and Roger Cole Nunnelley of Birmingham;granddaughter Kristin Leigh Nunnelley of Birmingham; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Vic, Susan and James Kelley.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Johnny Eidson
Funeral services for Johnny Eidson, 71, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Steve Wood officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Eidson died Monday, Feb. 12 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 15, 1935, to Lonnie and Gladys Norman Eidson. He was a truck driver, a Mason, and a member of the Scottish Rite in Birmingham.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Darnell Eidson; two daughters, Deborah Eidson and Cynthia (Gerald) Heim; two brothers, James M. (Lou) Eidson and Bobby (Evelyn) Eidson; two grandchildren, Ronny and Elizabeth; and five great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Nicholaus, Kaitlynn, Benjamin and McKenzie.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. today.
Avereen Moses Wall
Funeral services for Avereen Moses Wall, 82, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Dudley Brock officiating. A graveside commital service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.

Mrs. Wall died Saturday, Feb. 10 at Woodland Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Wall; a son, David Michael Wall; and her parents, James A. and Dessie (Pesnell) Moses.
Survivors include her son, Steven Wall of Birmingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. today at the funeral home.
James Haywood Shellhouse
Funeral services for James Haywood Shellhouse, 80, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Faith Baptist Church, Dr. Jeff Steele officiating, with burial in Vinemont Baptist Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services.

Mr. Shellhouse died Sunday, Feb. 11 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 14, 1926, in Dorun, Ga., to Rueban and Nora Sue Brady Shellhouse. He was a self-employed residential painter and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Donald and Ronald Shellhouse.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Thompson Shellhouse; a son, James D. Shellhouse; a daughter, Brenda S. Shellhouse; a brother, Luther Daniels; a sister, Linda Collins; and a grandchild, Andrea Shellhouse.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Shelby Jean Albright
Funeral services for Shelby Jean Albright, 67, of Vinemont will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Mark Davis officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Albright died Sunday, Feb 11 at her residence. She was born on Feb. 13, 1939, in Cullman to Herbert and Ada Cummings Kilpatrick. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Albright; a son, Kenny (Sharon) Albright; a daughter, Kathy (Tom) Wilhite; a brother, Delano Kilpatrick; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Michael Travis Stewart
Funeral services for Michael Travis Stewart, 48, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Danny Pitts and Bobby Stewart officiating, with burial in Good Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart died Friday, Feb. 9 at his residence. He was born on Nov. 24, 1958, to Elmer R. and Sarah J. Dial Stewart. He was the owner of Stewart’s Tree Service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer R. Stewart.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah J. Stewart of Cullman; two sons, Shane (Monica) Stewart of Hartselle and Travis (Caitlin) Stewart of Cullman; two grandchildren, Cade Stewart and Jaci Stewart, both of Hartselle; a special friend, Teria Whitehead of Somerville; five brothers, Thurmon E. (Donna) Stewart of Baileyton, Bobby W. (Melba) Stewart, Dale Stewart, Randall Stewart and Frankie D. (Kimberly) Stewart, all of Cullman; and three sisters, Nathalea R. (Dwight) Daniels, Gale Brock of Florida and Sandy Stewart of Cullman.
Pallbearers will be Robert Daniels, Nathan Daniels, D.J. Brock, Kevin Stewart, Johnny Stewart and Dale Anderson.
Visitation was Monday.
Coy Denton Kilgo
Funeral services for Coy Denton Kilgo, 85, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Jerrol Smith and David Carroll officiating, with burial in Emeus Cemetery.

Mr. Kilgo passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 11, 1922, in Winston County to Phenander M. and Fannie Wall Kilgo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Denoy, Olion, Thurell, Othell, Doyle and Dewey Kilgo; four sisters, Minnie Twilley, Linnie Pryor, Lavelle Hicks and Modine Denson; and his grandson, Matthew Hollaway.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ina Posey Kilgo of Cullman; two daughters, Deborah Elaine (Randy) Hollis and Donna Sue (David) Holloway, both of Cullman; three grandchildren, Sabrina White, Derek White and Joshua Holloway, all of Cullman; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, family and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Derek White, Joshua Holloway, Kenneth Kilgo, Buster Posey, Warren Posey and Alan Fincher.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Pressnell, Justin Bates, Chad Kelsoe and Edgar Guevara.
Visitation was Monday.
Turner Arnold ‘Unc’ Evans
Funeral services for Turner Arnold “Unc” Evans, 87, of Vinemont will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. J.C. Graves officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
