Dr. Darrell H. Compton
Funeral services for Dr. Darrell H. Compton, 83, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Terry Tingle officiating, with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Compton died Monday, Oct. 16 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 1, 1923, to Oscar H. and Maude A. Cantrell Compton. He was a veterinarian with Compton Animal Clinic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myrtis Compton; two sons, Patrick H. Compton and Joseph A. Compton; and two sisters, Claire Mae Burkhart and Ethel Muse.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Tonya (Jason) Lloyd and Jason Patrick Compton; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Delaney Lloyd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Timothy M. Nail
Funeral services for Timothy M. Nail, 50, of Trussville will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Welti Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nail died Sunday, Oct. 15 at his residence.
Angelia Suzanne Morrison
Funeral services for Angelia Suzanne Morrison, 40, of Madison will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel, Walter Blackmon officiating, with burial in Fairview West Cemetery.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Morrison died Friday, Oct. 13 in Harvest.
Bobbie Jo McCutcheon Bynum
Funeral services for Bobbie Jo McCutcheon Bynum, 34, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at Temple Baptist Church, the Rev. Malcolm Carter II officiating, with burial in Lystra Baptist Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bynum died Monday, Oct. 16 on Interstate 65 at Highway 157. She was born on Feb. 21, 1972, in Milwaukee, Wisc., to Bobby and Carol Jean Mallon McCutcheon. She was a waitress with Jack’s Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Bynum; and her brother, Bobby Shockley.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Edward Bynum II and Michael Aaron Coleman, both of Cullman; a daughter, Bethany Marie Bynum of Cullman; her father, Bobby (Donna) McCutcheon of Hartselle; her mother, Carol J. (Bobby) Shockley of Vinemont; three brothers, Chad Jason (Tamatha) McCutcheon of Fairview, Michael Vaughn Jr. and Kevin Vaughn, both of Hartselle; three sisters, Kristina Blackburn of Decatur, Stacie Harper of Hartselle and Samantha Shockley of Addison; and two grandmothers, Marie Mallon of Vinemont and Gurley Clements of Cullman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Renice Spratlin
Funeral services for Renice Spratlin, 89, of Eva will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home Chapel, Ronnie Jetton officiating, with interment in Etha Baptist Church Cemetery.
Williams-McCracken Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Spratlin passed away Monday, Oct. 16 at her residence. She was born on Jan. 6, 1917, in Randolph County to Robert Jackson Washington and Emma Lou Young Fincher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.Y. Spratlin.
Survivors include two sons, Dale (Linda) Spratlin of Cullman and Billy Spratlin of California; two daughters, Robbie (WyVaughn) Smith of Eva and Brenda (Steve) Alexander of Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Jeremy Smith, Josh Smith, Todd Stephens, Johnny Persall and Kenneth Golden.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
