Clinton and Lesia Van Gundy and Ernie Williamson, all of Cullman, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Williamson, to Eric Sherman, son of Bob and Susan Sherman of The Woodlands, Texas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margie Belue of Cullman and the late L.J. Guthrie, Navada Williamson of Cullman and the late Genadis Williamson, Francis Van Gundy of Beaumont, Miss., and the late Williard Van Gundy.

Ms. Williamson is a 1999 graduate of Fairview High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, with a bachelor of arts degree in public relations. She is currently employed as a communications planner with Halliburton in The Woodlands, Texas.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bob and Florence Sherman of Dallas, Texas, and Bill and Rita Nall of Garland, Texas.

Mr. Sherman is a 1997 graduate of The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas, and a 2003 graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, with a bachelor of arts degree in public relations. He is presently employed as a petroleum landman in Houston, Texas.

The wedding is planned for March 11, 2006, at Rosy’s Jazz Hall in New Orleans, La.
