Steven Alexander McKenzie
Funeral services for Steven Alexander McKenzie, 71, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at Moss-Service Chapel, James Ben McKenzie and Hugh Frank McKenzie officiating, with burial in Hayden Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McKenzie died Thursday, Dec. 22 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 8, 1934, to George Burdett and Essie Blakie McKenzie. He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Cleveland McKenzie; and his sister, Edna McKenzie.
Survivors include a son, Jeffery Lee McKenzie; three daughters, Barbara Owens, Judy (Jeff) Cooper and Cindi (Larry) James; four brothers, George Burdett McKenzie Jr., Mike McKenzie, James Ben McKenzie and Hugh Frank McKenzie; a sister, Christina Boyst; and four grandchildren, Jeremy Alexander Owens, Jonathan David Owens, Aaron Wayne Cosper and Jennifer Paige McKenzie.
Visitation was Friday.
Floyd Brashier
Funeral services for Floyd Brashier, 71, of Bremen will be at noon Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at New Horizon Memorial Chapel, with burial in Dilworth Church of God Cemetery.
New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brashier died Thursday, Dec. 22 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his father, Uyless Brashier.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Brashier; his mother, Corinne Brashier of Decatur; two sisters, Marilyn Smith of Decatur and Betty Johnson of Empire; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday.
