Hanceville man arrested on sexual assault charges

Cullman County Sheriff’s investigators recently arrested a Hanceville man after he allegedly sexually assaulted is ex-wife.
Issac Dale Bice, 26 was arrested July 6 at a Hanceville residence and charged with rape in the first degree and sodomy in the first degree.
According to sheriff’s reports, the 30-year-old victim stated she was at her home when the alleged incident occurred.
“It is alleged he forced his way into her residence,” said Cullman County Sheriff Tyler Roden.
After the alleged incident occurred, the victim contacted the sheriff’s office.
“Investigators were called out to the scene,” Roden said. “They investigated and he was charged that night.”
Further information concerning the incident was not released.
Bice was incarcerated at the Cullman County Detention Center but has since been released on a $120,000 bond.
Rape and sodomy in the first degree is a Class A felonies, punishable by up to life in prison.
