Lillian Faye Bailey Tillman
Funeral services for Lillian Faye Bailey Tillman, 80, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Moss Funeral Home, Doyle Bullard and Max Buttram officiating, with burial in Cullman Memory Gardens.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tillman died Tuesday, Feb. 14 at her residence after a long illness. She was born July 17, 1925, to Mr. and Mrs. Luther Bailey. She was a homemaker and the wife of the former Cullman High School Principal.
Survivors include her husband, John V. Tillman Jr., her daughter and son-in-law Charlotte Kaye Tillman Gutowski and Jerry Gutowski of Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Vernon Walker of Georgia; sister-in-law, Louise Bailey of Cullman; and grandchild, Nikolas Tillman Gutowski of Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Cullman County.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
James Gordon Chumley
Funeral services for James Gordon Chumley, 62, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Michael Smith officiating, with burial in Etha Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chumley died Wednesday, Feb. 15 at St. Vincent's Hospital. He was born in Cullman on Nov. 20, 1943, to Vergil and Thursey Kimbrel Chumley. He was owner of Chumley Paint and Remodeling Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Janice Darlene Chumley and Patricia Lee Chumley; a sister, Delphia Kiss; and brother, Travis Chumley.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Hayes Chumley of Cullman; two sons, Jimmy Chumley, Wayne Chumley, both of Cullman; daughter, Shelia (Gary) Minor of Cullman; sister, Sarah Snow of Cullman; and four grandchildren, Kyle Minor, Savanna Chumley, Lakarishia Chumley and Jake Chumley.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Sue Ellen Reeves
Funeral services for Sue Ellen Reeves, 75, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church, Jerry Goodwin and Kenneth Reeves officiating, with burial in Union Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Reeves died Tuesday, Feb. 14 at her residence. She was born in Alabama on Jan. 16, 1931, to Lawrence Brampton and Gladys Vera Hyatt Harris. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Roger Dale Reeves; two brothers, Wayburn L. and Carter F. Harris; and a sister, Dean Edwards.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, W.C. Reeves; one son, Ralph Edmund Reeves; one daughter, Rhonda (Roger) Guthery; one brother, Jimmy Harold (Lori) Harris; one sister, Alecia Anne (Ricky) McDonald; three grandchildren, Shanda Holcomb, Monica Reeves, Melissa Reeves; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Holcomb, Harley Holcomb, Gaven Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Albert E. Cobb
Funeral services for Albert E. Cobb, 77, of Falkville are incomplete and will be announced later by Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Cobb died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Woodland Medical Center.
William Auther Lynn
Funeral services for William Auther Lynn, 63, of Cullman are incomplete and will be announced later by Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Lynn died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at his residence.
Mattie Ruth Henderson
Funeral services for Mattie Ruth Henderson, 88, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Hopewell Baptist Church , the Revs. Randy Mahaffey and Bob Stevens officiating, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Henderson died Wednesday, Feb. 15 in Cullman. She was born Jan. 22, 1918, to D.B. "Doc" and Martha Elizabeth Cox Bradford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Asa B. Henderson; son, Jeral Henderson; and her parents.
Survivors include her son, Phillip (Ginny) Henderson of Hanceville; two daughters, Sandra (Douglas) Schultz of Hanceville, Brenda (Jerry) Dew of Cullman; five grandchildren, Cory, Patrick and Hannah Freeman, Brad and Nick Henderson; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jordan Freeman, Noah, Kadie, Raina, Irelyn and Sariah Henderson; brother, Everett Bradford of Hayden, two sisters, Evelyn Bright of Nashville, Tenn., Dorothy Smith of Birmingham; and step-granddaughter, Carrie Dew.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
